Happy 100th Birthday to the Lycée français of London by Marcelino Truong

Last week, the Lycée français Charles de Gaulle in London celebrated its 100th Birthday. Between 1915 and 2015, generations of students grew up in this place astride two cultures. French author and illustrator Marcelino Truong was among them, and has accepted to tell us about his memories of the lycée for the occasion. We are very lucky to be able to show you some of his drawings to match!

In Marcelino Truong’s words

Marcelino Truong is the author and illustrator of "Une si jolie petite guerre" (Such a Lovely Little War, Denoël Graphic, 2012), a moving testimony of the Vietnam War. He also writes children books, draws for several French newspapers including Libération, and paints.
