IN YORK, FRENCH FILM SEASON IS PAINTED BLUE, WHITE AND RED
Wakey wakey! We know it's hot and all you want to do is lie somewhere on the floor but it's French Film season, and you don't want to miss it. This year, KinoFólk joins the fête nationale celebrations by programming a tricolor season, with symbolic, if not literal, reference to the colours of the French national ensign.
From June to August, three films will be screened every month at The Basement, in York. You can watch the trailer right here:

As for the grand finale, it's no less than the Three Colors trilogy by Krzysztof Kieslowski on France's national motto: liberty, equality, fraternity.
