PIQUE-NIQUE | EPISODE 1 | LES SIXTIES À GOGO !

Oyé, oyé, French music fans, we've found a gem! If you like sugary pop-songs, the sixties and French mots d'amour, Pique-Nique might be just what you need. To everyone's biggest delight, Thom Slinn has created this great new show which plays 'rare and obscure French pop from the 1950’s and 1960’s (on original vinyl only, of course)' - his words, not ours. So spread out everything you've packed in your picnic basket on a confy blanket, sit back and enjoy: here comes episode 1!

"In the picnic basket this episode we've got covers galore, with some dreamy Francophone interpretations of tracks made famous by the likes of Adam Faith, Dee Dee Sharp, Dee Warwick, The Secrets, The Honeycombs, The Beatles, Ray Charles and The Sherry Sisters! Nevertheless, I still managed to cram in a healthy dose of original French compositions sure to get those feet a-tappin' and those fingers a-clickin' to that swinging French groove."
