Born in Italy, Beatrice Alemagna has lived in Paris since 1997. Her work has been translated into more than 14 languages and exhibited all over the world, from Sweden to Japan.
Her most recent book ‘Le merveilleux dodu-velu-petit’ has recently been translated into English as ‘The Marvellous Fluffy Squishy Itty Bitty’ and is published by Thames and Hudson.
The book tells the the story of Edith, also known as Eddie, who knows her mum would love a Fluffy Squishy Itty Bitty for her birthday. The only problem is that she doesn’t know what a Fluffy Squishy Itty Bitty is, or where to find one! This book follows Eddie as she tours the whole town, trying to track down the perfect present.
