La Fabrique des Humanités: A Translation Program in Humanities and Social Sciences
The association ATLAS, which aims to promote literary translation, organises a program of one-week intensive workshops designed for researchers, in order to develop their skills in translation in the fields of philosophy, humanities and social sciences. This program will bring French and English translators to work together and help them with key concepts for their work.
Please note that:
-The workshop on philosophy will now take place from the 18th of December to the 22th of December, still in Arles, with the help of the brilliant professors Duncan Large and Fabienne Durand-Bogaert.
-The workshop on sociology and anthropology will eventually take place from the 8th of January to the 12th of January, in Paris at EHESS.
The other workshops in Stirling and Yale are maintained at the same dates as previously announced: at the University of Stirling, from the 4th to the 8th of December, translation of History will be studied; while at the University of Yale from the 16th to the 20th of January, researchers will work on the translation of the "pensée critique".
