Europe, from the perspective of young pupils

Leading figures of children’s illustration, such as Axel Scheffler, Stephanie Blake, Claude K. Dubois and Patrick George give us their vision of Europe in the Drawing (for) Europe exhibition. This pan-European initiative, now led by the Pulse of Europe movement, was launched in 2017 by German publisher Moritz Verlag during the Frankfurt Book Fair, in order to demonstrate the kind of community, solidarity and cooperation that make the EU today. The original exhibition will be complemented by 13 drawings by British artists, including Quentin Blake, Benji Davies, Oliver Jeffers and Bridget Strevens Marzo.

La Petite Ecole Française joined us at the Médiathèque to learn more about the the whys and wherefores of the European Union. After seeing the exhibition, theses young pupils became immediately inspired and revealed their own vision of Europe, which are shared below.
