7th East London Comics & Arts Festival
The ELCAF is back, proudly supported by the Book Office! From June 22nd to 24th, it will again feature over 100 exhibitors plus a programme of talks, screenings and workshops led by different artists from across the UK and beyond, including: Charlotte Dumortier, Patrick Kyle, Nina Cosco, Conor Stechschulte, Tor Brandt, French illustrator Sammy Stein, Aisha Franz, Akvile Magicdust, Dawid Ryski and many, many more.
Among the many authors who will be present in London that weekend, don't miss out on Sammy Stein, who will be discussing his project on Sunday 24th, at 1.45pm.
In French, the expression “La bohème” refers to a way of living from day to day in carelessness, in search of an artistic ideal. Sammy Stein, who lives and works in Paris, reflects on his artistic practices of drawing, publishing – Collection Revue and international comics anthology Lagon Revue – curating exhibitions, binding comics and more and asks, is this la vie bohème in 2018?
