South Ken Kids Festival happily welcomes back French illustrator Magali Le Huche

Do you miss Pascal the platypus, Poppy the dog or Jean Michel the Caribou?

Amazing French illustrator Magali Le Huche is coming back this year at the South Ken Kids Festival!

Trained at the Arts Décoratifs of Strasbourg, Magali Le Huche now lives in Paris and has published more than forty books for children. In France, her books starring the mischievous dog Paco have been best sellers since 2016 and they are out in English as the Poppy series.

In the Poppy book series, Poppy lives exciting musical adventures with his friends that kids can discover on every page they turn by pressing the sound buttons. From Mozart to Vivaldi, from the brass band to the orchestra, Magali Le Huche's sound books are a beautiful introduction to music for the children and should be on every bookshelves!

Another one of Magali's famous little characters Pascal (Non-Non in France) is getting on the big screen! The great adventure of No-No was just released in France last week. This film for the little ones is the adaptation of the series of Non-Non, made entirely in 3D & modelling clay.

In this funny & lively movie directed by Mathieu Auvray, Pascal will go on an adventure with his closest friends. Don't worry about missing it in the UK, the film will also be displayed at the Ciné Lumière during the South Ken kids Festival on Saturday 24 November at 11am, and Magali Le Huche will have the pleasure to introduce it!
