About the South Ken Kids Festival 2018..

A month has already passed since the beginning of the South Ken Kids Festival 2018.. Let's not forget all those wonderful moments and show you some highlights of the festival week!

It started with the Schools programme with some great movies and live events!

Singing for Peace - André Malraux school concert

Live theater show Pop Up

Children's Bookshow with Aurélia Fronty & Franck Prévot

It continued with an amazing Launch Event: Never Stop Drawing (for) Europe. Some great illustrators (Axel Scheffler, Bridget Marzo, Sarah Mcintyre and more!) but also students from Central St Martins Art School opened the festival with some live drawing in the colors of Europe.

Then, the public part of the festival started on Saturday with some workshops..

A great Young Adult Special talk with French author Victor Dixen and British author Philip Reeve and of course awaited book signings.

A Live Drawing with Tor Freeman, Ronan Badel and Axel Scheffler

A beautiful live event: Draw Me Some Music, where French pianist Damien Luce played Francis Poulenc's Story of Babar, while illustrator Kris Di Giacomo draw and actress Anna Orford told the famous elephant's story.

And of course our favorite festival moment: Impro! With all the festival illustrators coming on stage, this year accompanied by French saxophonist Sylvain Rifflet.

On Sunday, illustrators' workshops continued.
