Translators: a call to applications
The French association for the promotion of literary translation Atlas is offering emerging translators an amazing professional development opportunity in the form of a two-month intense programme.
The programme, called “La Fabrique des Traducteurs”, consists in an extended one-on-one tuition, and will take place from March 19th to the 23rd of May 2019 in the city of Arles, in the south of France. Atlas will receive all participants in the Collège International des Traducteurs (CITL), a unique residence for translators, situated in a beautiful historic building.
The call for applications is opened until January 31st, for both French-speaking and English-speaking translators. All applicants must be under the age of 35. You can learn more on “La Fabrique des Traducteurs” on the Atlas website.
